COVID-19 

Studio policy

REGISTRATION & LIABILITY WAIVERS

 

  • You must register for any of our classes (whether indoors or outside) online, or on the Mindbody app. 

  • There are no drop-in’s allowed without contacting the studio first via phone or email info@thelabatlivingfit.com to ensure there is space in the class.  

  • Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email (for all virtual classes you will receive an email with the livestream link for the class- 30 minutes prior to the class start time)

  • Due to restrictions on spacing, we ask that you please always abide by our cancellation policy and if you are unable to attend, please cancel your space 6 hours prior to the start of class. 

  • Once you register in our system you will automatically receive our Waiver of Liability link. Please review and sign electronically right on your computer or phone, before coming to your first class.  All waivers must be signed before coming to your first class or training session.  Once you have electronically signed our waiver you will not be asked to do so again.

  • If you forget to sign prior to coming to the studio, a staff member will see the red “no waiver” banner across your name on Mindbody and will ask for your signature in the studio.

STUDIO PROCEEDURES 

  • Upon entering the studio, there are several touchless hand sanitizer stations, please sanitize when entering and exiting. All bathrooms have touchless soap dispensers as well. 

  • Temperature checks will be taken prior to all classes. Anyone with a temperature over 99.9 will not be allowed in the studio.

  • We have lockers for your convenience for any belongings that you bring into the studio.

  • Towel service and mat rentals are temporarily suspended. We ask that you bring your own towels to the studio (and mats for classes). 

  • We do not have a shared water system however we sell water and other health related beverages and food items in our wellness lounge.

  • All classes indoors are limited to 25% capacity with social distancing of 6 feet in between areas.

  • Clients are asked to bring your own mats for classes (our mat rental will not start at this time however we do have brand new mats we can sell if you forget yours)

  • Once entering the studio, in all common areas and training floors - a mask must be worn.

  • For all indoor classes, wearing a mask is mandatory at this point in time.  Should those restrictions be lifted, we will adjust accordingly.

  • Masks are not required for classes in THE LAB tents but must be worn upon entering the studio.

  • THE LAB will maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule day in and day out.  All of our staff members are highly trained and instructed as to our cleaning and sanitizing procedures daily.

  • All equipment is wiped and sanitized thoroughly after every use and every class.

  • If you are feeling ill, have a fever, cough, trouble breathing or any of the symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that you please do not come into the studio.

  • If you have left the area or traveled to any Covid-19 hot spots, or think you may have been in contact with anyone ill or whom may have been exposed to Covid-19, we ask that you wait 14 days prior to returning or once you receive a negative Covid-19 test result.

FAQ's

CANCELLATIONS - PERSONAL TRAINING

THE LAB at Living Fit Studio has a 24-hour Cancellation/Rescheduling policy for all one on one personal training sessions.  If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice, you will be charged for the session unless it is rescheduled within the week.

 

We realize that there are many things that come up in people’s day to day lives.  While remaining truly sympathetic, our trainers cannot absorb the financial responsibility of last-minute cancellations. We do not double book appointment times, but rather reserve specific times for each client affording individual care. In fairness to all of our clients and all studio members, this policy is put in place to ensure responsible scheduling for both our trainers and our clients.

CANCELLATIONS - GROUP CLASSES

THE LAB at Living Fit Studio requires online registration for all classes in order to reserve a space.  The studio is strict on this policy due to Covid-19 restrictions.  THE LAB at Living Fit has a 4-hour cancellation policy for all group classes. If you book a class but cannot attend, you may cancel that class online via Mindbody (or by emailing info@thelabatlivingfit.com) within a 4 hour window prior to the start of that class time in order to retain the credit for that class.  If you do not cancel the class 4 hours in advance this is considered a “late cancel” and you will be charged for that class.  If using a class package, a late cancel will result in the loss of that class/credit.  If you reserve a class but do not show up, this is also considered a late cancel.

TRAINING/GROUP FITNESS 

PURCHASES & REFUNDS

In order to reserve a class, you can purchase a single class or a class package on our website or directly on our Mindbody app.  Additionally, we offer monthly unlimited access memberships as well.  To view pricing on the different options available, please click TRAINING & CLASSES tab on our website.  If you have any questions or need help in purchasing packages, please email info@thelabatlivingfit.com and one of our staff members will get back to you right away.

 

Classes and instructor assignments are subject to change at the discretion of the studio.  All class and training packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.  Single classes expire within 30 days from date of purchase. 5 class packages expire within 3 months from date of purchase. 10 class packages expire within 6 months from date of purchase. Monthly unlimited class packages renew every 30 days from the date of activation.  Monthly unlimited packages are activated at the time of your first class.

 

All non-food/beverage purchases have a 30-day return policy.  The item must be in the condition it was at the time of purchase, unworn with tags attached.  If the item is beyond 30 days, we can extend the policy with an exchange only or a credit to your account.  Any items marked "FINAL SALE" will not be accepted for returns.

LATE POLICY

Out of respect for your fitness community, please try your best to be on time for class.  If you are running late or have a conflict, please give us a call or email the front desk info@thelabatlivingfit.com to let us know as soon as possible.  If notified of your delay, we can hold your spot for up to 5 minutes past the class start time.

LOCATION & PARKING

271 Grove Ave is a modern/industrial complex with several ground level businesses.  Enter from either of the two entrances on Grove Ave and Ozone Ave, we are in the middle complex directly behind Vanguard Medical Center (if entering from Grove Avenue) in building C.  Keep an eye out for our rad "FYE" flag, vintage wooden sign, or outdoor hangout area- and you've found us! There is complementary parking directly in front, on the side and behind our studio in building C.  Additionally, there is plenty of parking on the other side of our building.
